Research Cell

The Research Cell is an academic platform dedicated to promoting research, innovation, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice in nursing. It encourages students and faculty to explore significant healthcare challenges and develop scientifically informed approaches to improve patient care and nursing practice.

The cell provides students with opportunities to participate in research projects under the guidance and mentorship of experienced faculty members. Students are introduced to the complete research process, including identifying research problems, reviewing literature, developing research questions, selecting appropriate methodologies, collecting and analysing data, interpreting findings, and preparing research reports.

Research activities cover diverse areas such as clinical nursing, community health, maternal and child health, mental health, nursing education, patient safety, healthcare quality, and emerging health concerns.

Through seminars, workshops, research projects, academic discussions, and faculty mentorship, the Research Cell develops students' critical thinking, scientific reasoning, research skills, and academic confidence. It aims to transform students from passive learners into active contributors to nursing knowledge and evidence-based healthcare.

Student Research Club

The Student Research Club is an academic and research-oriented initiative designed to cultivate a strong culture of inquiry, innovation, and evidence-based thinking among nursing students. The club provides students with an opportunity to explore meaningful research questions, strengthen their scientific and analytical abilities, and gain practical exposure to the various stages of the research process.

During their final semester, students actively engage in research projects under the expert guidance and mentorship of experienced faculty members. With structured supervision, students progress through the different phases of research, including identification of research problems, formulation of research questions and objectives, review of relevant literature, selection of appropriate research methodologies, data collection, analysis, interpretation of findings, and preparation of research reports.

The Student Research Club has facilitated the completion of numerous research projects addressing a diverse range of topics relevant to nursing, healthcare, patient care, community health, nursing education, and contemporary healthcare challenges. These projects provide students with an opportunity to translate theoretical knowledge acquired throughout their academic journey into practical research experience.
