Admissions Procedure

50% of the allotted seats come from Government Quota and the balance 50% is for the management to fill. Each management quota application is considered by the college selection committee with respect to the following:


  • Marks obtained I 10+2 examination or equivalent.
  • Performance of personal interview.
  • Health status
  • Exceptional aptitude in extra-curricular activities.
Government (University) Quota Seats will be filled by Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences

Qualifications

  • Should have passed Intermediate education with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as optional; subjects or Intermediate vocational education conducted by the Board of Intermediate examination, Telangana or any examination recognized as equivalent there to..
  • Should have secured not less than 50% of marks in optional subjects of the Intermediate examination or equivalent examination..
  • Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years and should not be more than 35 years as on 31st December of the academic year of admission. Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 3 years in case of SC/ST candidates.
  • Physical fitness must be ensured by certificate from a registered medical practitioner.

Duration

The course in B.Sc. Nursing will be of four years duration

Syllabus and general outline of the course will be prescribed by Indian Nursing Council, and Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal. Medium of instruction will be English.

Examinations and Certificates

There will be four public examinations held by Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal. Each examination is held after completion of 12 months of study and clinical practice. Medicti College of Nursing will conduct selection examination one month before the Common Examination. Only the successful candidates will appear for the common examination. The minimum marks required for passing any examination is 50%. Minimum attendance for appearing is 75%.
